“GOLD SEAL” Universal Joint

Long known for our high quality drive shafts, we are proud to announce the introduction of our name branded “GOLD SEAL” universal joint.

Most manufacturers offer a breakage guarantee of the universal joint. Break it and they will replace it free of charge. The problem is, usually the failure of the universal joint will damage the drive shaft and is not covered by their warranty. With Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shafts new “GOLD SEAL” universal joint, if the universal joint breaks, Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shafts will also **warranty** damage to the drive shaft (see warranty below)!

Using high industry test standards, these universal joints exceeded manufacturers’ load, life and strength requirements. The joint also features an easy access grease fitting.

We originally anticipated that we would only be offering this universal joint as part of a complete Tom Wood's drive shaft. There will be no up-charge for this universal joint and is a part of our continual efforts to improve the quality and value of our drive shafts. It's a pretty strong warranty and we want to make sure everything is as good as it can possibly be.

However due to popular demand we have reconsidered and offer the joint only at the following prices:

1310 series..................$20.00 each

1330 & 1350 series......$25.00 each

Please note that only the 1310 series will have the grease fitting in the bearing cap. 1330 & 1350 will have the grease fitting in the body of the cross.

**Gold Seal ™ Warranty**

Tom Wood’s Gold Seal Universal Joints are manufactured using the highest quality standards and are warranted to the original purchaser or recipient only. This warranty is non transferable.

The purchaser shall be responsible to determine all design and/or specification parameters and the suitability of any particular product for its intended use.

Coverage:

Tom Wood’s Gold Seal Universal Joints are warranted against breakage for the life of the universal joint.
All the universal joints in any covered drive shaft must be Tom Wood’s Gold Seal Universal Joints
Our liability for breakage which may occur during the life of the coverage period, will be to repair or replace the drive shaft only or to refund the purchase price of the universal joint, upon return of product.
This is the entire obligation of Tom Wood’s Custom Drive Shafts Inc. No other warranty is expressed or implied.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Not covered in warranty:

Malfunctions due to improper installation, functional or design parameters, tampering or modification.
Incidental or consequential damages (with the exception of damage to the drive shaft).
Acts of God or accident.
Failures which may occur as a result of lack of maintenance or damaged mating components.
Freight expenses.

Modifications.

Any modification to the universal joint by anyone other than Tom Wood’s Custom Drive Shafts Inc. will void this warranty.
